It all started between racquetball games. A bunch of us just standing or sitting around talking about a variety of topics. Someone mentioned Nick was engaged. Not being the greatest sales rep, I handed him a Photography by Jerry and Denise card. Understand his mother, Abby and maybe others visited our site to view our stuff. And the rest as they say, is history.
We photographed the engagement session (yep check it out) of their dreams: at a Cocoa Beach sunrise.
Next stop: Palmer, Alaska. (Go ahead, we'll wait) Hopefully you took a moment on the blog to see our 11,000 mile adventure to, around and from Alaska. It was epic. Even though no moose was spotted, still worth every minute.
Now finally the wedding. What are weddings after all? Family and friends of those who love the couple gathering to witness them joining their lives in matrimony. Its such an emotional affair. We love it with all our hearts.
We enjoyed meeting all of Nick's friends and family. We enjoyed meeting all of Abby's friends and family. Enjoyed is actually an understatement. They were all so loving and welcoming to us we felt like family, too. Still have the moose we bought from our spontaneous Lowes visit, complete with Steve blowing bubbles in the check out lanes. Oh yeah. It was this good.
We love you all and hope you are blessed with our images. Scroll down for a full length slideshow.
All of the images can be seen here.
And this wonderfull event was held at Alaska's Harvest Bed & Breakfast.
Hope to see you soon,

Her middle name is Joy. She is so loved and her eyes reflect all that love to everyone she meets. It's been a pleasure to photograph her since she was a big belly on her momma. Now she's one. It's been an amazing first year to watch her grow and change over these months. Looking forward to each new development milestone, because before we know it she'll be ready for her senior pictures. Enjoy each moment. So happy to get these images for you. With all our love,
J & D
Photographed on location in Winter Park, Florida.
At least it feels like WE are expecting twins. Of course EJ and Pamela are really the expecting ones. Our job is to 1. be excited 2. make photographs they love, and 3. offer to babysit (and really mean it). We truly are thrilled for this growing family and are blessed to be a part of the memories. These little girls will be doted on by their photographers, that's for certain.
For now, our job is to love on these two beautiful people and give them our best. Looking forward to meeting Ella and Eden more each day. Until then, enjoy these days you two. Sleep-in while you can. Spend these last weeks BB (Before Babies) enjoying time together.
From our hearts to yours ~ J & D.
Very happy to finally post some images from Rodney and Shantell's wonderful wedding. Their wedding was less than a month ago, but we thought it was only fair they saw their images in person first. Knowing them over all these months, getting their engagement images from University of Central Florida and finally photographing their wedding has culmnated into a nice collection of images. We were honored to be a part of these moments and hope their new life together is blessed.
The images from Shantell getting ready and their First Look were from The DoubleTree downtown Orlando and the wedding was held at Lake Highland Prep's auditorium. The reception was host by the venerable 310 Lakeside Orlando. See the story with the slideshow below.

A couple of years ago Jerry met a pretty girl named Kellie Wells downtown for a photo shoot. She was so much fun to be with so Jerry couldn't wait to photograph her again. We had tentative plans to have another session, but her schedule wouldn't permit it. Turns out she was doing a lot of training because she was a contender for the 2011 Women's 100 meter hurdle World championship in South Korea. Pretty good excuse.
Since that time she's tried to reschedule, but her time in Orlando is always so limited. That happens when you qualify for the 2012 Olympics. Her final match is tomorrow. We couldn't be prouder of her. She's a remarkable person and regardless of how she finishes, Kellie will always be our Gold standard. God bless Kellie Wells.
